Armed with Knowledge: Tyneside’s Intelligent Force

FREEJoin us in exploring a piece of Newcastle’s military history as we head towards Armistice Day.
Learn how the British Army has changed over time since the First World War with the 52 Military Intelligence Reserves. Try your hand at practical challenges, find out what exactly goes on in the Military Intelligence Corps, and observe demonstrations of actual equipment.
There will also be opportunities to see and handle artefacts from the First World War, kindly on loan from Newcastle’s Discovery Museum.
This drop-in activity day is free to attend with no pre-booking required and is suitable for all ages, including families.
