If you love attending our Advent Procession of Light in December, don’t miss this special Epiphany Procession featuring the beautiful voices of Newcastle Cathedral Choir.
The Season of Epiphany began with the visit of the Magi (Wise Men) to the newborn Jesus and concludes with our celebration of Candlemas next Sunday, 2 February.
This service will begin by recalling the journey of the Wise Men, or ‘Magi’, who came “from the East”. The Choir and Clergy will process from the Cathedral’s East End into the Nave, ending at the Font. Join them on this journey, accompanied by music, including Britten’s ‘A New Year Carol’ and Gardner’s ‘Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day’.
(Photo from December’s Patronal Festival, which featured both our choir and members of Durham Cathedral Choir.)
This service will also be live-streamed via our YouTube channel (see below).

All services are free to attend with no pre-booking required.
