Pre-bookable Christmas Dinner (Mon-Sat) – Café 16

£25From 1-23 December, a three-course ‘Christmas dinner’ is available to pre-book at Café 16, located in the Cathedral Refectory. This festive offer can be booked in advance for either lunch or an afternoon meal.
For just £25 per person, your chosen meal will include a glass of wine or a soft drink, accompanied by tea or coffee. Here are the dining options available:
- Vegetable & Lentil Soup (VE)
- Turkey Dinner with all the traditional trimmings (Vegan and Vegetarian options are also available)
- Indulge in a delectable Chocolate Brownie with Raspberry Coulis & Cream

Café 16 is proudly operated by the Oswin Project, an independent charity based in Northumberland. A team of prison leavers staffs the café, led, trained and mentored by the Oswin Project – offering them the chance to learn new skills and find a new direction on release.
Please note: Café 16 will close for Christmas at 3pm on Saturday 23 December 2023. It will reopen at 10am on Wednesday 3 January 2024.
