SOLD OUT – Dare you Climb the Tower?

A rare chance to climb the 162 steps of Newcastle Cathedral’s Lantern Tower and experience breathtaking views of the city.

Each aspect of the tower reveals a unique story of the heritage and people of Newcastle upon Tyne. During the climb up, we stop to take a breath at the Cathedral Bell Chamber and hear some of the fascinating stories behind the Cathedral’s history.

This is a challenging tour with enclosed spaces and lots of steps! You must be physically fit to undertake this tour.

Sensible footwear must be worn, and no large bags are permitted on the tour.

Price
Tickets cost £8 per person (plus an additional booking fee) and tours last approximately 1 hour. This cost includes a chance to see the recently made Lantern Tower Film immediately after your tour (please note that this excludes the tour on Saturday 26th February at 3pm- you will instead be emailed a link to view on your request).

Minimum age 11; all children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
