Evensong with Cathedral Music Trust Grant Celebration

The Music Department at Newcastle Cathedral were thrilled to be awarded a grant recently by the Cathedral Music Trust of £21,500, ensuring that every young singer here can receive individual singing tuition from an expert teacher. This grant also marks a significant step forward in revolutionising our Organ and Choral Scholarship programmes.
To kickstart another year of support for fantastic music departments across the UK & Ireland, the Cathedral Music Trust is hosting a programme of grant celebrations during September and October. At Evensong on Sunday 17 September, we will be joined by Trust representative Victoria Eyre, who works as Concerts & Projects Manager for Royal Northern Sinfonia at Sage Gateshead.
