Finding Radical Hope in a Year of Election?

18th March @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Reserve your space (booking essential)

Communities Together Durham and the William Temple Foundation

In the North East, we have some of the highest rates of child poverty in the country, a housing crisis, and numerous other challenges. It can feel hopeless at times. In this year of mayoral and national elections, how can churches act together in ways that bring hope?

This event will be hosted by the William Temple Foundation. Booking is open to all; however, space is limited.

During this event, attendees will:

  • hear from the Bishop of Newcastle, the Rt Revd Dr Helen-Ann Hartley, about why challenging injustice is so important in our ministry.
  • explore the notion of radical hope with Chris Baker, Director of Research for William Temple Foundation.
  • learn about ways in which we can take action, with Sara Bryson from Tyne and Wear Citizens and other contributors.
