For over 900 years, Newcastle Cathedral – originally the Parish Church of St Nicholas – has been at the pulsing heart of Newcastle.
On this tour, you will be shown architectural details and told stories about some historical characters connected to this sacred space. Find out about our connections to Cuthbert Collingwood, Nelson’s right-hand man; Ralph Hedley’s medieval-style Victorian carvings, the Unknown Knight and more…
This tour starts in the Cathedral Nave, beside the medieval font, and lasts approximately 45 minutes. This tour is fully wheelchair accessible.
Tickets are available via TicketSource on a Give as you Feel basis with a suggested donation of £6.

While some tickets may be available on the day, we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
