Illuminating the Word of God: Exploring the use of Art in Faith (Exhibition)
13th November - 17th November
FREEOver the last year, the Voices of Faith group has invited individuals and groups to reflect on examples of how writers, sculptors, calligraphers, poets, composers and artists in general have drawn inspiration from their religion to illuminate the word of God.
This exhibition of posters in St Margaret’s Chapel represents a range of ideas from members of some of the religious communities across the North East of England.
After the exhibition, which coincides with Inter Faith week (12-19 November 2023), these posters will be stored by the Religion Resource Centre and available for display in other places.
