Monday Organ Music – Online

Ahead of the return of our recital series, the third of six opportunities to hear some recordings of our Cathedral Organists and their talented friends from across the country.

The music heard in today’s recital is performed by Kris Thomsett, Assistant Director of Music at Newcastle Cathedral, from his home during lockdown, using a Hauptwerk organ. The three organs used in the recital are Friesach, St Bartholomäus (Austria), Giubiasco Parish Church (Switzerland) and the Willis organ of Salisbury Cathedral.
