25th November

BOOKING REQUIRED

Organiser

NE1 at Christmas Website

The Search for Santa trail returns to Newcastle this November, offering fun for all the family and a meet-and-greet with the big man himself. This much-loved event is brought to you by NE1, who exist to champion our amazing city centre.

Starting at Northern Stage, the magical Christmas adventure will weave through the city streets as you and your little ones solve clues on a festive trail map that leads all the way to Newcastle Cathedral in the hope of meeting Santa!

Enjoy Christmas-themed craft stops with fun activities along the way before winding your way down to Newcastle Cathedral for storytelling, yummy hot chocolate, and the chance to meet Father Christmas! There’ll also be opportunities to win prizes from wonderful city supporters, including John Lewis & Partners, Tyne Theatre and Opera House, Las Iguanas, Northern Lights and Eldon Square.

Search for Santa is free to attend, but places are limited, with only 200 tickets for children up for grabs.

Please note: Pre-registration closed at midday on Monday 30 October, and this event is now fully booked. This event is not organised by Newcastle Cathedral.

For ‘Everything You Need to Know About Search for Santa 2023’, please visit the NE1 website.
