From Sunday 29 September to Saturday 19 October, Newcastle Cathedral will host a donation point for Newcastle Foodbank. Conveniently located near the Inner North Entrance, this donation station offers visitors an easy way to contribute as we prepare for the Cathedral’s Harvest Festival on Sunday 20 October.
Newcastle Foodbank, which opened in 2013, offers emergency food assistance and other support to people in need across the city. The Bishop of Newcastle, The Rt Revd Dr Helen-Ann Hartley, became a patron of the Foodbank earlier this year. The Foodbank has provided a list of the most urgently needed items. Please kindly only donate items from the list below.
Your contributions will help make a tangible difference to families and individuals facing difficult times. Thank you for your generosity and continued support.
