Visit Newcastle Cathedral to explore an array of unique ceramic works produced by talented artists based across the North East. Responding to the theme of ‘light’, this collection of works, including sculptures, pots and lamps, showcases the incredible skill, creativity and talent of the artists who have contributed.
Light illuminates that which is hidden; it shows us the way to go; it brings us a sign of hope in times of darkness. In springtime, the arrival of light brings the possibility of new beginnings and opportunities and invites us to pause and think about what is ahead.
This exhibition forms part of Newcastle Cathedral’s ‘Wellbeing & Discovery’ season, which includes opportunities to try new skills, discuss important issues and explore what’s important to our individual and collective wellbeing.
