Patronal Festival of St Nicholas
6th December @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
On St Nicholas Day, Durham Cathedral Choir will join our own to celebrate Newcastle Cathedral’s patron saint. Stay afterwards for refreshments served by the Friends of St Nicholas, a charitable group dedicated to supporting the Cathedral’s work.
This year, the Church of England invites us to reflect on the serene heart of the Christmas story – Mary cradling the newborn Jesus, the Light of the World. In the midst of this busy time of year, discover moments of peace at our Advent and Christmas services.
This service will also be live-streamed via our YouTube channel.
All services at Newcastle Cathedral are free to attend, with no pre-booking required.
