Sparks in the Dark – Northumbria University BA (Hons) Theatre & Performance Students’ Performance

16th May @ 2:00 pm - 2:30 pm

FREE
To RSVP, please email Liz Pavey

What is it like to be your own worst enemy whilst trying to walk back to the path of life? What is it like to try finding light again whilst, at the same time, a part of you is leading you to darkness? Join Alice, Rianney and Jess as they each embark on a journey of recovery.

‘Sparks in The Dark’ is created and performed by first-year Northumbria University BA(Hons) Theatre & Performance students in response to their encounters at Newcastle Cathedral this semester.

The work has themes of addiction, abuse and violence.

This performance lasts approximately 30 minutes and will be staged twice, at 2pm and 3pm.

Spaces are limited, so please email module tutor Liz Pavey at liz.pavey@northumbria.ac.uk to reserve your place.

The Cathedral’s Lantern Initiative increasingly walks and works alongside those facing difficult circumstances in life. Watch the video below to find out more.
