The Lord’s Prayer Tour 2025

18th September 2025 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Learn more about Faith in the North

Organiser

Diocese of Newcastle

The Lord’s Prayer shapes not only the way we pray but the way we live. Whether you are familiar with the prayer or curious about its meaning, come and join the Archbishop of York as part of a series of events across the North of England.

The event will feature music, film and a powerful teaching session led by the Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell. There will also be an opportunity for a Q&A, offering a chance to reflect and ask questions.

“The Lord’s Prayer isn’t just a guide for prayer – it’s an invitation to live differently. It’s a lesson in desire and purpose. God may know what we need, but we don’t always see it ourselves. This prayer has been passed down through generations, and while not everyone may know it fully, most people have encountered it in some way.” — Stephen Cottrell, Archbishop of York

The Lord’s Prayer Tour is part of a series of exciting events happening across the North of England, organised in partnership with Faith in the North – a movement inspired by the stories of Northern Saints like Hild, Cuthbert, Bede, and Paulinus.

Further details about the event and how to join will be shared in due course.
