Newcastle Cathedral is a unique and inspiring venue for any occasion. From awards ceremonies and classical music concerts to dinners and rock bands, the Cathedral is a perfect backdrop for any special event.
The building works we are carrying out in 2020 as part of our Common Ground in Sacred Space project will vastly improve our space by removing the pews to create greater flexibility, laying underfloor heating for maximum comfort, upgrading sound system and lighting plus improved Wi-Fi facilities. The exterior of the Cathedral will also be landscaped to complement the interior and provide additional spaces for activities. We are pleased to be taking bookings for April 2021 onwards. We’d love you to visit us to discuss all your bespoke event requirements with our team in advance to help create your perfect event.
We also have a range of smaller meeting rooms perfect for your business. These can be used as stand-alone meeting rooms or ideal as break-out spaces/green rooms for your larger event.
