DESCRIPTION:Newcastle Cathedral is home to all sorts of curious creatures. Join us to hear tales of dreadful dragons and crafty rabbits\, take part in creative art activities\, and make your very own creature to take home. \nChoose from one of two sessions: 10–11:30am or 1:30–3pm\, and drop in anytime during these times. \nThese sessions are recommended for children aged 4–11 and their grown-ups. All children must be accompanied by an adult. \nWhile booking isn’t essential\, we encourage you to register in advance so we can make sure there’s plenty of space and materials for everyone to enjoy. \n— \nVisiting for the first time? \nNewcastle Cathedral is committed to being a place of welcome for all. A blend of contemporary spirituality\, scriptural reflection and tales from one of the UK’s youngest nuns makes this a vibrant take on an ancient season. \nThis book is a companion to the six weeks of Lent\, with each week and its gospel focus corresponding to one of Jesus’ six spiritualities of social justice. It culminates in a fresh look at the traditions of Holy Week. DESCRIPTION:The Newcastle Community Health Bus (“Monty”) will be in St Nicholas’ Square during the Pop-Up Hospital Family Fun Day inside the Cathedral. \nTake the opportunity to get a healthy heart check\, have your blood pressure measured\, monitor your cholesterol and receive friendly health advice. \nThe Newcastle Community Health Bus was established following a collaboration between Newcastle GP Services and Newcastle University’s School of Pharmacy\, initially to provide health check-ins to patients across Newcastle. The bus is now managed by NGPS. \nNo appointments necessary – just drop by! Please note: The Newcastle Community Health Bus will be closed for lunch from 1-1:30pm. \nPop-Up Hospital Family Fun Day
