SUMMARY:Choral Evensong – Week of Prayer for Christian Unity
DESCRIPTION:This year marks the 1700th anniversary of the Nicene Creed\, which we say each Sunday morning. It is a statement of faith that is shared by all the different Christian denominations. To celebrate this anniversary\, we will be joined by friends from the Roman Catholic Diocese at Evensong on Sunday 19 January at 4pm at which their Bishop will be the preacher. \nThis service will also be live-streamed via our YouTube channel (see below). \nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wc8eEDaafGo \nClick here to read and follow along with the Order of Service. \nAll services are free to attend with no pre-booking required. \nWe are also invited to attend a service at Newcastle’s Roman Catholic cathedral\, St Mary’s\, at the end of the week of prayer for unity on Saturday 25 January at 4pm. \nClick here to learn more about the St Mary’s Cathedral service.
