DESCRIPTION:Join us as we mark Ascension Day\, featuring uplifting music from the Cathedral Choir and commemorating the moment when Jesus Christ was lifted into heaven following his resurrection. \nAfter rising on Easter Day\, Jesus remained with his disciples for forty days\, teaching and preparing them for what lay ahead. DESCRIPTION:The Day of Pentecost comes fifty days after Easter Day and brings the Easter season to its joyful climax. \nA major feast in the Church’s year\, Pentecost recalls the gift of the Holy Spirit to the disciples\, as told in the Acts of the Apostles. Filled with the Spirit\, they were able to proclaim the good news of God’s love in many different languages to the crowds gathered in Jerusalem.
