SUMMARY:Start: God\, Jesus and the Journey of Life in 6 Sessions
DESCRIPTION:Got questions about life and the Christian faith? \nIf you’re looking to explore faith\, then maybe it’s time to make a ‘Start’. Normally run in groups of about 6 to 10 people\, each session involves video clips\, exercises\, group discussion and time for reflection. Each session is free to attend. \n\nWhat’s life all about\, and where are we going?\nDoes God exist\, and what is He like?\nWhy is the world in such a mess?\nWho was Jesus\, and is He relevant?\nWhat does Jesus’ death on the cross mean for me today?\nHow far can I go forward with God in my life?\n\n‘Start’ will help you discover more about God\, Jesus and the journey of life. \nSpaces are limited. The six-week programme will begin each week at approximately 6.30pm with food\, followed by the session in a designated area of Newcastle Cathedral\, fully accessible via a lift.  Full access information will be shared in advance. DESCRIPTION:The Newcastle Community Health Bus (“Monty”) will be in St Nicholas’ Square during the Pop-Up Hospital Family Fun Day inside the Cathedral. \nTake the opportunity to get a healthy heart check\, have your blood pressure measured\, monitor your cholesterol and receive friendly health advice. \nThe Newcastle Community Health Bus was established following a collaboration between Newcastle GP Services and Newcastle University’s School of Pharmacy\, initially to provide health check-ins to patients across Newcastle. The bus is now managed by NGPS. \nNo appointments necessary – just drop by! Please note: The Newcastle Community Health Bus will be closed for lunch from 1-1:30pm. \nPop-Up Hospital Family Fun Day
