DESCRIPTION:Confirmation marks the point in the Christian journey at which you affirm for yourself the faith into which you have been baptised and your intention to live a life of faith. This affirmation is confirmed through prayer and the laying on of hands on the head\, by the confirming bishop\, as the Church asks God to give you power through the Holy Spirit to help you to live in the way of Jesus. \nIf you or someone you know is interested in being confirmed\, please get in touch with Ruth Hulse\, our Canon for Worship & Congregational Life\, who would be very pleased to speak with you. \nIf you haven’t been baptised\, don’t worry! Baptism can take place at the same time\, or beforehand.
