DESCRIPTION:Join us for an informal ‘Meet the Photographer’ event with Alan Edington\, who has served as Verger at Newcastle Cathedral for 15 years\, to explore the ideas and inspirations behind his photographic exhibition. \nAlan’s work invites us to slow down and look more closely at the familiar\, yet often overlooked\, spaces around our city. His photographs grew from a personal project begun during his studies in Contemporary Photography at Northumbria University and have continued to develop ever since\, with new images added recently. \nDuring this event\, Alan will speak about his role at the Cathedral\, his photographic journey\, and how faith\, observation\, and everyday detail shape his work. \nThis event is FREE to attend; no pre-booking required. \nGod is in the Detail: Meet the Photographer\, Alan Edington
