On the last Monday of each month, local members of the Third Order of the Society of St Francis lead prayers for peace in the Ascension Chapel from 12 midday to 12:25pm.
On the first Thursday of each month, Newcastle Mothers’ Union members hold Midday Prayers in the Cathedral Quire from 12 midday to 12:30pm.
Services are held every Wednesday at 6pm for people with lived experence of addiction, offering a ‘brave space’ where judgment is set aside, fostering honesty and openness about life and recovery.
