‘Her Circle’ – Supporting Women Who Experience Complex Motherhood

Enquiries: info@reformorg.co.uk

This year, Mothering Sunday falls on 30 March — a time to reflect on and celebrate the many forms of motherhood. Throughout the month, this exhibition will amplify the powerful voices of women who have experienced the challenges of complex motherhood and child removal.

Written, visual and digital artwork provide a powerful reflection on these women’s recovery from child removal. Themes of trauma, resilience and hope are explored. This includes art produced by the women of Her Circle and Harriet Mee.

Click here to read our article about the story behind this powerful exhibition.

The work debuted at an event on 6 March, ahead of International Women’s Day. It has been funded and supported by Newcastle City Council Artist Residency Programme 24/25, Newcastle City Learning (Funded by North East Combined Authority) and Digital Voice for Communities.

Please note: Due to their location, the artworks may not always be visible or in their intended configuration, particularly during services and large events. We recommend checking the Visitor Notices page on our website before planning your visit.
