Act of Remembrance on Armistice Day
11th November 2025 @ 10:45 am - 11:10 pm
Gather in St Nicholas Square on the eleventh day of the eleventh month – the anniversary of the Armistice that ended the First World War – for a short act of remembrance led by the Dean of Newcastle. The service will conclude with the laying of poppies, honouring all who have served and sacrificed in times of conflict.

You are also warmly invited to join us for our Sung Eucharist on Remembrance Sunday, taking place at 10am on Sunday 9 November inside the Cathedral. This service forms part of our regular Sunday worship.
