Join Joyce Quin for a fascinating talk about the new book from Tyne Bridge Publishing, ‘Angels of the North: Volume Two – More Notable Women of the North East’ (published May 2024).
Co-authored with Moira Kilkenny, the book delves into the stories of thirty-five remarkable North East women whose achievements deserve recognition. From scientists to social reformers, their contributions to public life are profound. Some escaped slavery, others braved war zones, and many challenged powerful institutions.
Joyce will shed light on these women’s inspiring journeys, marked by bravery and determination against all odds. Their tales, filled with unexpected twists, offer a gripping read, showcasing their resilience and selflessness.
