Newcastle Cathedral is home to some wonderful depictions of birds — come and discover their stories, then create your own mini flock of birds to take home with you.
You can drop in anytime during the session times, but please book in advance so we know how many materials to prepare.
These activities are designed for children aged 4–11 and their grown-ups.
Please note: children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and adults must attend with a child.

Visiting for the first time?
Newcastle Cathedral is committed to being a place of welcome for all. We are dedicated to the care and protection of everyone who visits.
As well as being, first and foremost, a working church, we offer targeted support for vulnerable individuals seeking emotional and physical refuge, including prison leavers, those recovering from addiction, people experiencing homelessness, and survivors of gender-based violence.
We aim to ensure that all visitors have the information they need to enjoy a safe and positive experience.
