Join Rita Griskonyte, an experienced stained glass artist based in the North East, for a series of creative workshops over the summer. This is an excellent opportunity to learn how to cut glass and create your own decorative glass piece using the fused glass technique. Each participant will be able to transfer their ideas onto a 20cm x 15cm size glass piece.

Suitable for ages 18+, max. 10 participants per workshop. (Two separate time slots will be available for the sessions on Saturday 14 September.)

Please note:

  • Fused glass needs to be fired in the kiln, meaning pieces will be ready to collect in approximately 10-14 days.
  • The workshop is held either in an upstairs room overlooking the refectory or in the Cathedral nave. Both spaces are fully accessible.
  • Specific queries about the content of the workshop should be directed via Rita Griskonyte’s website: www.ritagriskonyte.co.uk/contact.
  • Please read Newcastle Cathedral’s Terms & Conditions on TicketSource before booking your ticket.

Events such as this workshop help raise funds to maintain Newcastle Cathedral, continue our charitable work and keep our doors open for all.
