The programme moves from ancient words of expectation to lullabies of peace, from joyful dances and timeless carols to striking contemporary works. With melodies both familiar and fresh, pause amid the busyness of the season to be uplifted by the beauty of voices in harmony.
The Cathedral Choir is at the heart of Newcastle Cathedral’s life, receiving national recognition in recent years through BBC Radio 4 Sunday Worship, Choral Evensong on BBC Radio 3, and praised in BBC Music Magazine for their last CD, ‘A Year at Newcastle’.

- Doors open at 6:30pm, with refreshments available to purchase.
- Seating is unreserved. There will be plenty of seats for everyone, but we encourage you to arrive early to choose your preferred spot and soak up the festive atmosphere.
