Pop-Up Hospital Family Fun Day
17th February @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
FREEJoin staff from the Great North Children’s Hospital for a special insight into their incredible work supporting children and families across our region.
Enjoy a range of interactive activities and hands-on arts and crafts inspired by physiotherapy and radiology, and meet partners from Tyne & Wear Fire Service, Healthworks, Newcastle Hospitals Charity and Citizens Advice to discover how they support local communities.
And keep an eye out – you might even get to meet the hospital’s friendly mascot, Fudge the Giraffe!
This drop-in activity day is FREE to attend with no pre-booking required and is suitable for all ages… especially families!
Please note: Great North Children’s Hospital staff will stop for their lunch break at 12:30pm. Activities will resume at 1pm.
The Newcastle Community Health Bus (“Monty”) will be in St Nicholas’ Square during the Pop-Up Hospital Family Fun Day at the Cathedral. Drop by for free heart, blood pressure, and cholesterol checks, plus friendly health advice. No appointment needed. Closed 1–1:30pm.
