Please note: This exhibition will now close slightly earlier than originally advertised, with its final day on Sunday 28 September, to allow for essential maintenance.
Revival Newcastle is a group of passionate people, services and organisations who are working together to support anybody with a drug, alcohol or addiction issue.
Timed to celebrate Recovery Month during September, this exhibition brings together powerful voices from individuals, groups, and the wider Newcastle recovery community. Through art, writing, and treasured objects, people have shared their journeys of recovery – each piece a testament to courage, creativity and hope.
These works remind us that recovery is not only possible, but is happening all around us, every day, in many different ways. They speak of resilience, transformation, and the strength that flourishes within community. By amplifying these voices, the exhibition seeks to challenge stigma and offer encouragement to all who are beginning or continuing their own recovery journey.
This exhibition is supported by the Cathedral Lantern Project, which exists to walk and work alongside people experiencing difficult circumstances in life.
