Ash Wednesday Sung Eucharist with the Imposition of Ashes
5th March @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Join us for a special service to begin the season of Lent – an opportunity for reflection and repentance and to prepare our hearts for the coming of Easter.
As part of the service, you are invited to receive the sign of the cross in ashes on your forehead, a powerful symbol of humility and renewal.
The Cathedral Choir will offer a stunning musical backdrop, including Gregorio Allegri’s ‘Miserere’ – one of the most breathtaking choral works ever composed. Renowned for its soaring high C, this masterpiece remains a true demonstration of vocal skill and beauty.
