Mothers’ Union in the Diocese of Newcastle warmly invites you to join us as we celebrate Mothers’ Union’s 150th anniversary year.
With four million members across 84 countries, Mothers’ Union supports people of all faiths and backgrounds through practical action, prayer and advocacy. Established in 1885, the Newcastle Diocese branch continues to strengthen families and communities through faith-filled outreach and service.
The celebration service will include prayers, readings, local music, and art. The group will reflect on their longstanding relationship with the Cathedral and Diocese and share their continued hopes of ‘Lighting the Way’ for generations to come.
Members are invited to gather from 10:30am, and a light buffet-style lunch will be available after the service.
If you plan to attend, please help us plan seating and refreshments by emailing chaplain@munewcastle.org.uk by Saturday 20 June to RSVP.
