Eucharist with Admission & Licensing of Readers

Join us as the Bishop of Berwick, the Diocesan Warden of Readers, admits and licenses new Readers into the life of the Church and Diocese of Newcastle, with the Bishop of Newcastle presiding at this service.
This will be both a time of celebration and a recommitment: a time to give thanks for the contribution of Readers throughout the Diocese, to witness the licensing of new Readers, and to support those renewing their promises to ministry.
Together, we will pray for God’s blessing on those he has called to ministry as Readers and for those who take up this call today.
This service will also be live-streamed via our YouTube channel (see below).
