Harvest Festival with Newcastle Cathedral’s Young Singers
20th October 2024 @ 10:00 am - 11:15 am
Newcastle Cathedral’s Harvest Festival will be a joyful celebration of the season, featuring music, prayer and reflection on the gifts of the harvest. The service will include music from some of the Cathedral Choir’s youngest singers – surrounded by the flock of 30 soon-to-be-Illuminated Sheep!
This service will also celebrate the generosity of our Cathedral community for their contributions to Newcastle Foodbank and showcase the vibrant handiwork of the Heaton Hookers — a local craft group who have creatively ‘yarn-bombed’ the Cathedral in celebration of the season.
