First Choral Evensong of Candlemas with Procession
1st February @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Join us for the First Choral Evensong of Candlemas, featuring a beautiful candlelit procession.
During the service, candles will be lit for the congregation, and all will be invited to follow the choir and ministers in procession into the Nave of the Cathedral.
Just as Advent begins with a candlelit procession, so Candlemas marks the close of the season with light. Holding candles, we once more celebrate Christ, who has been revealed to us as the Light of the World.
This service will also be live-streamed via our YouTube channel (see below).
