Experience the art of quilting with drop-in demonstrations led by members of the Quilters’ Guild, a national charity dedicated to promoting patchwork and quilt-making across the UK. Whether you’re a seasoned quilter or just starting your journey, everyone is welcome to join in and learn.

The Guild brings together quilters in a spirit of friendship and learning. As an educational charity, its members work to preserve the heritage of quilting and ensure a vibrant future for the craft.

The Guild is divided into regions, and Newcastle is part of Region 15E, which covers Northumberland, Tyne and Wear and Durham. The Regional Committee puts on a variety of events for its members and the public.

Please note: The Guild demonstrators will be on their lunchbreak from 12:30pm to 1:30pm.

This event is inspired by the Illuminated Sheep visiting Newcastle Cathedral. Click here to find out more.
