Join us for an uplifting evening of pop and rock hits performed by Northern Proud Voices, the North East’s largest and longest-running LGBTQIA+ choir.
Since 2011, the choir has provided a safe and supportive space for members to connect through music, reducing social isolation and promoting overall well-being. Expect a setlist of feel-good and meaningful anthems — last year’s programme included ‘Mr Blue Sky’ by ELO, ‘Tattoo’ by Loreen, and ‘It’s a Sin’ by The Pet Shop Boys.
After the concert, enjoy refreshments and networking in the stunning Cathedral nave.
Tickets are available on a ‘Give As You Feel’ basis (suggested £8).
Proceeds will be shared equally between Northern Proud Voices and Newcastle Cathedral, whose work includes the Cathedral Lantern Project, which exists to walk and work alongside people facing difficult times.
This event is an official part of Northern Pride’s Fringe Festival, leading up to Newcastle Pride on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 July.
