Orchestra North East

Orchestra North East is thrilled to welcome back Khrystyna Mykhailichenko, the young Ukrainian pianist who delivered a stunning performance of Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 3 in June 2023. Khrystyna has captivated audiences in prestigious concert halls and music festivals worldwide, and she has performed as a soloist with symphony orchestras on more than 40 occasions.

In February 2022, Khrystyna relocated to the UK with her mother and younger sister. After initially settling in Corbridge, where she gave several recitals, she is now continuing her studies at the Royal College of Music in London.

The evening’s conductor will be Alexander Rebetge. Originally from Munich and currently based in Manchester, Alexander has distinguished himself working with orchestras and choirs in both Germany and the UK.

Programme:

Brahms: Piano Concerto No. 1
Franck: Symphony in D minor

Please note:

  • This concert is hosted by an external organisation, and booking fees may apply.
  • For ticket queries, please contact Orchestra North East directly.
