Voices United: A Choral Celebration with Cologne Cathedral Girls’ Choir

16th October @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

GIVE AS YOU FEEL
Book tickets via TicketSource

Join us for a special evening of music as Newcastle Cathedral’s Girl Choristers and Senior Girls Choir come together with the renowned Cologne Cathedral Girls’ Choir for a unique celebration concert.

Founded in 1989, the Cologne Cathedral Girls’ Choir is one of Germany’s premier youth choirs, led by cathedral cantor Oliver Sperling. Known for their exceptional performances, they are regularly heard during Sunday services and concerts at the iconic Cologne Cathedral, as well as at the Cologne Philharmonic Hall, on the stage of the Cologne Opera and across nearly every continent through extensive international tours.

Newcastle Cathedral’s choristers are drawn from a wide array of local schools, reflecting the Cathedral’s commitment to offering high-quality musical education to young people across the region. Led by Director of Music Ian Roberts, Newcastle Cathedral’s choirs are essential to the daily rhythm of this sacred space.

Tickets for this concert are available on a ‘Give as You Feel’ basis, with a suggested donation of £10. Newcastle Cathedral Choirs Association will provide refreshments, with proceeds supporting the Cathedral’s music programme.

Don’t miss this opportunity to experience a night of beautiful choral music in a stunning setting.
