Experience the Cathedral’s peaceful atmosphere after dark – an opportunity to step away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Enjoy a stroll through historic candlelit surroundings, accompanied by beautiful music recorded by the Cathedral Choir.

Find a quiet spot to sit and reflect, join guided tours, explore the ‘Look into the Light’ art installation in the crypt, and engage in mindful craft activities the whole family can enjoy. Café 16 in the Cathedral refectory will provide an opportunity to relax, enjoy a selection of short films, and purchase some delicious food and drink.

Before the clocks change and as the days grow longer, join us in this sacred space and leave feeling refreshed, restored, and ready to embrace the coming of spring.

Information for attendees:

  • This event will operate on a timed slot basis. You are welcome to stay however long you wish; however, the last entry is at 7:45pm and the building will close by 8:30pm.
  • Please be aware that the Cathedral is a historic building and has uneven floor surfaces. Appropriate footwear is advised at this event.
